Creators & Partners
Calm, practical tech guidance for families — written like a trusted consultant, not a billboard.
We collaborate with thoughtful creators and ethical tech brands to help parents and carers navigate apps, games and devices with confidence.
Who we are
Understanding Tech is an independent UK project focused on clear, evidence-based advice about family tech, online safety and digital habits.
We don’t use affiliate links or paid placement in our guides — when we recommend something, it’s because it’s genuinely useful.

Frequently asked
- Do you accept paid placements?
- We don’t accept payment to change conclusions. If we ever run paid sponsorship for a newsletter issue, it will be clearly marked.
- Can we supply review units or trial access?
- Yes — loan units or time-limited trials are welcome. We disclose when something was supplied, and still review independently.
- Do you work with schools or PTAs?
- We produce free printable PDFs and plain-English guides that schools can share with families. We’re happy to co-brand where appropriate.
